artificial intelligence does consciousness matter
AI is trying since its inception to replicate Human Intelligence. This includes several characteristics among which the most challenging one has been Consciousness. Is it possible to create an Artificial Consciousness? If so,how to do it? And do we really need Consciousness to create a General AI? In this panel we will explore why Consciousness matters (or not) so much, and what is the state of the art of the research from different perspectives and branches of Science.
