AI-aided Precision Medicine: an Unavoidable Revolution
Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can play a key role in preventing, detecting, and monitoring epidemics. In this panel, we will discuss the cutting-edge technologies in several strategic areas, including: (1) triage, diagnosis, and risk prediction; (2) drug repurposing and development; (3) pharmacogenomics and vaccines; and (4) mining of the medical literature. We will show how AI-aided health care is not anymore a desired option, but an unavoidable required revolution.
